We would like to invite you to the Workshop on the Ecological and Social Footprint 
of Electronics http://www.r07.org/index.php?req=WorkshopFootprint_of_Electronics ,
which is organized as a part of the R’07 World Congress.

It is still possible to submit contributions to this Workshop (oral presentations,
proposals for panel discussions or other types of contibutions) informally.

- Martin Eugster from Empa will report on the environmental impacts of
computer notebook production in China (frist results of a project with 
IISD and Seco).

- Andreas Manhart from Oeko-Institut Freiburg will report on their 
studies on the social impacts of computer notebook production. 

The R’07 World Congress promotes innovative technologies and frameworks to improve 
material and energy efficiencies in the production, use, and recycling of materials.
